I recently asked Mike from Implicit Audio to design and build me a cab to re-house a vintage 70's Traynor amp.
The interactions were consistently professional. He was genuinely interested in my objectives: he listened, asked great questions and suggested ideas accordingly.
The cabs are made of very good ply birch material. Finally, the joints are immaculate. Takes 30 minutes, some wood glue and clamps to render a well-aligned cab.
Very high marks for quality speed and ease!

What I really liked about dealing with Implicit Audio for this project is that they were open to my ideas and were able design and build exactly what I wanted. Also the quality of wood used was excellent. I would recommend Implicit Audio's work/cabs to anyone looking for a speaker cabinet.

I was looking for a head/cabinet option for my next guitar amp kit project and I stumbled on Implicit Audio. They could provide a ready cut Russian plywood, CNC precision cut, solid grille frame, ultra precise joints. I would never have achieved this precision at home.
As I was assembling the cabinet, they were quick to reply to my email questions with acute answers. The cab was assembled in no time.
For finishing I used a SamaN stain and varnish -- two coats, charcoal, to get the grain look. I used special speaker screws that have a left-screw part into the baffle so I can install the speaker from the inside. To hold the grille I used Velcro -- industrial black. Since the speaker is installed from the inside, no need to remove the grille, but you can if you want.
A great cab in the end if you ask me. I did not know Mike from Implicit Audio before reaching out for an order, yet all our email exchanges made me feel I was dealing with an old friend.
A great product! I strongly recommend Implicit Audio if you are looking for a great cab -- you'll save hours of work that you can put to practice your guitar.
